Sunday Style Inspiration

So I almost take it back--after wishing it would be fall already for so long, when it was finally cool enough to eat dinner out on a patio this weekend, I couldn't help but feel wistful that summer's nearly over.

There are so many warm weather outfits I have yet to wear! I'm panicking and I'm taking inventory of all my favorite crop tops and sandals to make sure everyone gets a turn. Here's some sunny inspiration to get us all through the last of these lazy hazy days.

Style Inspiration: Wideleg and Flared

Well look at that--I ended up skipping over this week's style inspiration post. I was up to my elbows in a home improvement project Sunday evening, and between the paint fumes and massive cleanup, it slipped my mind. But don't you dare think I forgot! I'd been culling images all week.

So I'm late to the game here, since many of my favorite blog ladies grabbed Lovestorys last season, but I'm really drawn to the wideleg and flare silhouette right now. I love how a good pair of trousers or bellbottom jeans can transition from bohemian to prim with the right accessories.

With all this inspiration floating around my head, I ended up caving when these AG Farrahs went on sale at Anthropologie. I decided to go the nautical route. It's probably not that obvious on the blog, but if I could, I would wear a striped tee every single day.

Sunday Style Inspiration

I don't know about you, but I'm itching to pull out all of my fall clothing already. And putting together so many outfits in my head with all of my existing and soon to be acquired pieces. Three key elements are my primary inspiration when currently dressing and shopping for fall:

Sunday Style Inspiration

I realized my favorite posts on any given blog I read are the outfit inspiration posts people put together. In particular, Erin of Calivintage's Weekly Roundup and Beatrice of DearBeatrice's Style Inspiration posts are at the top of my list, and I pore over their culled choices when I'm stumped in the mornings.

And since I hoard photos and photos of outfits and bloggers I love too, I thought it would be nice to bring back a little Sunday treat. I fell off the weekly Etsy love wagon over a year ago, and I miss having a regular feature to sign off on the week.
