As I mentioned in my most recent post, I got to hang out with Maria (of Infinite Whimsy fame) this weekend! We ended up making a mini blogger event out of it with my girl Fallon. In lieu of an Etsy post this Sunday, here is a glimpse into our marathon hangout session.
We had a fab girls' day running around Lenox mall!

A reader actually approached Maria (and me and Fallon?) asking if she/we/I blogged! It's always so fun running into fans. The best part? We were gabbing on a sofa in Anthropologie. It was like catching us in our natural habitat, tee hee.
After our obligatory giant local Anthropologie trip (which I am sure Maria will fill you in on!), I decided we needed to have a group photoshoot before parting ways. It started off pretty straightforward. The three of us do this on a regular basis after all:
But then the girls realized I had set the camera to continually take photos! We busted into giggles as passerby gawked and a good number of people I knew walked through this passageway. Between having fun and feeling a teensy bit bashful, we were all cracking up. Blogging allows you to be your own paparazzi, but it sure gets silly.
This is me in my natural state, believe it or not!
Are we done taking photos yet? Oh my.
I had a blast meeting Maria! She is very lovely and down to earth in person--which I feel comes through clearly on her blog. I'm always happy to meet blog friends--there is this whole dimension of my life that I don't usually get to share with my real-life girlfriends. On what we're wearing:
Fallon and I are both wearing Frye shoes, and all three of us are fairly Anthro-ed out! I'm in "vintage" Anthro, Maria is in the so-called "swan butt" skirt that is darned cute, and Fallon is wearing the Claudine tee in navy.
For those of you who missed us this weekend--how about an Atlanta meetup soon? I keep discovering more Atlanta-based (and Georgia-based) bloggers, and would love to have a lunch or brunch meet-and-greet.
How fun!

Everyone--We had such a blast! It's always so special for me to meet a new blog friend.
ReplyDeleteRosa! Yes please! Or it might go the other way around...I might be in NYC this summer for a bit.

ReplyDeleteJinah - I'm so glad you got to meet Maria - she is so awesome - I love her!!
aw, that looks like SO much fun!!
ReplyDeleteand you all look so darn cute!
hi! quick question, what is the best Anthro in Atlanta? I am going this weekend, and curious where I should focus my energies :)
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance!!
How fun! I love that you were chatting on an Anthro sofa. So appropriate! And those shoes are incredible! I love the yellow.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely up for an Atl Blogger Date!
Sadie--I have different reasons for going to each store. The Perimeter location feels more personal and "boutiquey" (and it helps that I know all of the staff, haha!) and I know that everyone will be more willing to help me. The Lenox store is much larger (like football field sized!) and carries more merchandise--including higher priced items (such as Leifsdottir) and shoes. If you want to see almost everything you see online and in the catalogs, I'd stop by Lenox. It's a zoo in there on the weekends though!
ReplyDeleteAshley--We def. need to set a date! I've been talking to Cath and Lar and we are trying to coordinate our schedules right now.
Super late to comment here, but I just wanted to say that I am sooo envious. You guys look like you had a total blast, and all of you are wearing such cute outfits! And now I want Fallon's skirt!!
