Chambray forever! I keep reaching for all of my recently acquired chambray pieces this summer. The denim on denim with denim trend hit at just the right time for me to start a well curated collection. I'm excited to document my eventual chambray array of outfits at the end of summer.
For those of you who are not yet converts, I'll continue to sing its praises and prance around in chambray ensembles. It's the perfect lightweight and comfortable fabric to wear during the unpredictable turns of weather common in Atlanta summers and it can transition easily into Fall.
And while the textile itself lends itself to casual dress, the pieces that I've been adding to my wardrobe can be dressed up or down. (Being appropriately, yet somehow overdressed is my thing.) I hope that red, white, and denim all over sticks around for a while. I could definitely get used to this as my new uniform.
very cute, i love chambray too!
ReplyDeleteI really, really want a chambray shirt now! Gots to go shopping!
ReplyDeleteJinah, that color is GORGEOUS on you. Not all chambray looks as rich as that- I lurves it.
ps- I feel the same way about S&TC2, and reading this review in Bust Magazine made me even more excited and thinking "Yeah! Stop your whining, menfolks!"

I'm totally on board with the chambray. I only have one piece from the Gap, but it's hard not to wear it pretty much every day since it goes with everything! And it is lightweight and soft like bunnies, but less fluffy. :o}
ReplyDeleteThat dress looks great on you! I love that chambray is so in style right now.
ReplyDeleteI also love your bag. I have the same one in the huge size.
