Err, yes this was taken in the bathroom.

Look what just came in the mail!! I'm still not sure how I feel about the upcoming film, but I sure do love all of the Alice-themed goodies that are turning up as a result.

Alice in Wonderland is my favorite classic Disney animated film, and when I saw this Urban Decay Book of Shadows, I had to have it. And the pop up mirror scene really clinched this one for me. I don't think I even looked at the shades before I made a mental checkmark to buy this puppy when it came out. Luckily, when it arrived in the mail I found that most of the colors are neutrals or work with my coloring. It comes with two 24/7 eyeliners (which rule) and a eyeshadow primer potion (which I  already use errday).

It's already sold out on the Urban Decay website and has glowing reviews on the Sephora site. I've been using mine for the past few days since it arrived and this set has the perfect selection of colors for a casual day look, smokey eyes, and jazzy metallics for nighttime. Snatch it up here before the rest of them are gone!

This is absolutely eye candy (BAD PUN SORRY! lolz). I saw it featured in Nylon but it was hard to tell what it was since it was an illustration... thanks for the pics so i can get a better look at what I'm missing out on! ;)

  2. I AM DYING HERE! I love how they used all the different words from the books, like muchness and vorpal. I wish I could justify buying this, but I'll just enjoy your pictures (and I can't wait for the movie to come out... we saw a trailer of it before "Avatar" in 3D Imax and it looked great).

  3. I saw that on sephora and it is sooooo fricking cool! I am really lazy about switching around makeup colors, but it's almost worth buying just for the cute packaging, haha. Urban decay is the best, hautelook had an urban decay sell last month and I bought... 8 things for under 20 bucks.

  5. I'm not a huge eye shadow gal, but I am desiring this shadow kit - I want to buy it and just stare at the colors.

Ah, marketing folks with your sly packaging ways, you've got me again!

  7. I've been using mine for the past week. Love.It.All! Did you pick up any of the Alice themed OPI polish? Always Alice and Mad as a Hatter are fun and pretty.
Alice was always my favorite growing up & I'm a big Tim Burton fan so I am very much looking forward to his version of the movie.
