I managed to procrastinate a bit during my mad study-a-thon for finals and peruse my favorite shops on eBay last week. When I saw this dress that Rhiannon had for sale, I nearly died of cuteness. I thought that it was a perfect spring/summer complement to my very favorite fall/winter Vanessa Barrantes dress. I saved the auction in my sniper program thingy and put it in the back of my mind.

Thursday night as I walked out of my last final, I saw the messages from eBay saying that I won!! I hollered pretty loud in the silent hallway in excitement. And the best part was, Rhiannon was kind enough to hand-deliver the dress to me when she was in Atlanta!

We had an impromptu meetup over cannolis and chatted nonstop about clothes, the bloggy world, and places to go in Atlanta. If anyone is curious, yes she is incredibly nice in person, and yes, she really does look like a silent film star in real life.

I think this piece stands on its own, and I want to wear it all the time this summer!

  1. oo I love this dress! I love how simple it is but how it totally stands on its own (pretty much exactly like you said). I also spent about 1/2 of my finals study time shopping ebay & other various sites. I wonder if online stores experience a boom around April/May...
