Apparently all I want to wear lately is navy cardigans with yellow bottoms or yellow cardigans with navy bottoms! Good thing I have an endless supply of navy cardigans, as I cannot seem to stop buying them. Bare legs season is slowly creeping in, and I've been pulling out all the skirts I can when there's a hint of sunshine.
When I wore this outfit to work, I had three people stop me and ask where my skirt was from! And then I would realize I was launching into a longwinded Anthropologie skirt story and would have to stop myself since I now sell a different brand...
Speaking of Anthropologie, I stopped by my local Anthro today and tried on some things that are on my "I'm allowed to purchase this after Easter" wishlist. Not being in the store everyday (working) has helped me get past my "retail goggles" and in the end, I think it will be better for my wallet. I can go into the store with a clear head and come out empty handed and not feel disappointed that I'm missing out on the fun. That being said, I still cannot wait to pick up the things I have in mind.
This period of time has been nice--it gives me lots of extra time to reevaluate my closet and think over potential purchases. Obsessing over "hot" items gives me too much anxiety sometimes. I don't like when I have to figure out whether or not I want something right away because it might sell out forever. This probably explains why my current clothing wishlist includes really generic items, such as a denim jacket, brown oxfords, and khaki pants.

LOVE this outfit! Blue and yellow is one of my fave color combos, and I'm glad you finally pulled out your scalloped skirt! In other news, I've been trying to find the J.Crew Maya in that amber color for several weeks with no luck :(
