Outfit details: plenty by Tracy Reese Anatolian Shift
Line open ruffled cardigan
Target Katherine Engineer boots
It is gorgeous out today! I pulled out this dress and traipsed around Decatur in it today. I must have been in an obviously good mood because when I walked into my usual stop for bubble tea, the guy taking my order was like, "You must be on Spring Break!" The forecast is especially glorious for the weekend, so I might end up sipping yummy beverages outside instead of cutting into my fabrics.
The print on this dress feels like a Turkish rug. While it's not an easy dress for me to throw on and go all the time, I can't help but be drawn in by the amazing print and details. All of the Tracy Reese pieces I have ever seen are always more wonderful than I can usually bear.
This is getting long, and I should really run before I get caught in notorious Atlanta traffic. I have a very special birthday party to attend for my very special sister Jeaners. I can't wait for her to open her presents.
Have a great weekend! Is anyone going to see the new Alice in Wonderland? I watched Beetlejuice earlier this week in preparation for Tim Burton's newest work.
Love the dress! Tracy Reese has some of the best prints!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Alice. Going to see it in imax 3-d. I hope I don't end up wanting to kill myself for doing that. (Also sneaking pink Andre into the theater because Alice demands class like that.)
ReplyDeleteYes so excited for spring!! those target boots are great, dead ringers for the Frye boots
ReplyDeleteIf you have the silken trellis dress it would be great if you could wear it! Am really curious about how it looks IRL. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI love this look today! It's so fresh and spring-like, yet edgy. And it looks comfortable too.
ReplyDeleteLove that look you're making in the second pic - cracked me up!
Anonymous--That sounds like a great idea! I'll make sure to pull it out over Spring Break.
ReplyDeleteAlicia--Haha, I like to have the little cans of Sofia Pink or whatever at movies myself...
I love it when you wear this dress because it is so gorgeous! I like how you paired the boots with it too. My hubby, son & I watched Alice in 3D XD yesterday - LOVED IT!! Going to watch it again next weekend with my girlfriends. We are going to go in costume, yes we are dorks, haha!
ReplyDeleteI love those boots!
