Bonjour it's Jinah!

Sunday Etsy Love 03.14.10

This week's theme: Boho and Gypset Style.

Inspired by today's release of the Liberty of London collab and the fashion book Gypset Style, which gives a peek into the new evolving bohemian-bourgeois/world-traveller lifestyle. And of course, I had to include a vintage Liberty print dress in the mix.

What to wear: statements.

Clockwise, from left to right:
  1. 1970's Bed of Roses Dress from swaneegrace, $48. I've been coveting a floral piece made in the famous fabric for years. I might make this one mine! It reminds me a lot of the print used in a Marc by Marc Jacobs dress that I was obsessed with last spring.
  2. Green Abstract Art Kimono Loose Long Maxi Dress by iamroses, $28. I was super stoked to run across this Etsy shop! In addition to this easy printed maxi dress, the seller can also custom make an amazing array of other fits in beautiful fabrics. At this price? I might break my shopping ban and grab them all.
  3. Hand Dip Dyed Fringe Necklace in Peacock by threehorses, $36. Fringe is one of my favorite ways to add some subtle jazz to an outfit. This fringe necklace comes in a rainbow of colors and a variety of lengths. I think it would look great with everything from a white v neck tee to a leather jacket.
  4. Black Leather Love Cuff: Bird in Flight Silhouette by LoveAtFirstBlush, $75. Isn't this handcut leather piece so pretty and edgy all at once? It's like wearing the daintiest armor on your wrists.

I sure did forget to change this :)
  1. Brown and Turquoise  Boho Leather and Ribbon Cuff by BaroqueAndRollCuffs, $16. This Etsy shop is chock full of these handmade leather cuffs. Check out the model shots. So casually cool.
  2. O Ring Brown Leather Cuff Bracelet by BeadSiam, $8.50. You can swing a little equestrian with this leather cuff bracelet. It can go preppy or bohemian and is easy to wear with jeans as well as sundresses.
  3. Double Round Wrap Stud Brown Leather Cuff Bracelet by BeadSiam, $10. If studs are more your speed, this seller offers this fun skinny stud bracelet in addition to a plethora of many affordable bracelet options.
  4. Vintage Sterling Silver Natural Brown Tigers Eye Stone Ring by LoveP, $24. Wear this vintage ring with your new peacock print dress and lots of bracelets piled on! A very understated pretty little piece that can work into your everyday wardrobe and bring a little charm to your day.

I literally want everything in this post you guys. Did anyone else check out the Liberty of London for Target stuff? I stopped by Target this morning on my way to work and got caught up in the moment, completely forgetting about my shopping ban.

I was totally impressed in person with the vibrance of the prints and quality of the fabrics! I'd love to hear about what you picked up.

    1. I love all of the stuff you posted! It's the bohemian in me. So many great things on Etsy.

I picked up a good share of Liberty of London at Target. I didn't even bother going to the store, I just woke up early and ordered it all online. As for your shopping ban? Don't feel bad about breaking it to pic up some of the LoL. You should just consider it an exception as the line is limited edition. If I were you I'd be kicking myself for not picking up anything just to watch it all sell out. You could always wait until Lent is over to wear your new purchases! :-)

    2. Athena--this might be a good solution! I was still up at 6 AM on Sunday because the time change totally messed me up and purchased a good chunk of stuff online too.
